WHY?

Why are we dealing with repeated attacks on blackness?  Why are people all over this country suddenly making the most mundane, routine, ordinary of things a crime for black people?  As I contemplate these questions wondering more and more, what's going on?  I go back to my Bible and realize that this world will become more and more out of control, deceitful, dangerous, greedy, lecherous, selfish and murderous!!! As a person of color, I'm extremely concerned about the random acts of violence that seem to perpetuate our community.  Whether committed by the police, other members of the community or whomever, it is alarmingly clear that black lives matter less and less within and outside of our community.  Hundreds of years of slavery, Jim Crow laws, and attitudes have managed to convince the world at large including other people of color that black lives are worthless or at the very least worth less!!!
Having been born during the civil rights movement, I am fortunate that I had more options than my parents, grandparents and great grandparents.  All of whom helped build this country into the powerhouse it is now.  I am grateful for all who came before me and whose shoulders I now stand on.  I try to post as much positive information as possible on social media outlets about the black experience and the things we've achieved, contributed to and changed for the better.  We must come to terms with our own history, it's uniqueness and it's impact on every facet of life around the world.  We are survivors, innovators, creators and keepers of the universe.  We are children of GOD and he loves us.  We are the beginning and end of civilization.  To understand just how important we are to this world, it's history, it's development and it's ability to survive, you must do your homework and discover if you don't know who we really are.
I hope for the sake of your soul, you undertake the determination to discover things you never knew or were not taught to you.  Do not rely on the very limited, anemic and massively inaccurate portrayal of us, or lack of true history in the lessons we've been told.  They aren't even close to the true, complete, glorious and magnificent truth about us.  I want each of you to undertake your own journey and discover for yourself that you are indeed special and were always special.    No other race of people have been treated as despicable and inhumanly as black people.  The day will come when this will not be the case and their will be no more of our blood spilled.   Many wrongly believe they will never answer for their crimes and sins.  Nothing could be further from the truth. We will all stand before God one day for judgement!!!!
